This weeks 52 week challenge photo is a free hit, where a topic is not drawn out of the hat, it’s whatever you want to post! Having had a morning at the Historique Rally Event in Banbury yesterday, I decided on this photo – love an old Jaguar and all the chrome that goes with […]
Looking through the listings of a well known selling site shows just what a bargain the Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera has become.
Week 4 of the 52 week challenge.
A few notes on the Olympus XA2
Week 3 – Tools OK, I’m cheating here as it’s a phone pic! We’re currently having our bathroom re-done which is taking far too long.
Week 2 – Pleasure My guilty pleasure – photographing classic cars. Taken at a recent car meet. It’s also a Porsche, one of those things I’d definitely buy if my numbers came up!
Week 1 – Local A bit of a throwaway as it’s an alley close to where I live, but it is local
I’m all for a bit of a project when it comes to photography. In fact I seem to be constantly on the lookout for a bit of inspiration to make me go out and shoot more
Had a wander round the Gloucester Quays area on Sunday.
I have a checkered past with film cameras. Since getting back into film a few years ago now I’ve bought and sold quite a few cameras that looking back I should have kept.
I always think classic American cars look great when you see them in the UK. Their presence is undiminished and their size always makes them a crowd puller. Easy to see why with this beautiful example of a Dodge isn’t it?!
Thought it would be fun to convert a few of the recent photographs to a square format.
How I use my Fujifilm X-Pro1 in manual focus mode
I’m a GAS addict, there I’ve said it.
Had a few frames left at the end of a roll of Tri-X 400 I’d pushed to 1600 in the Leica M6 and as I was off to a car meeting last weekend thought I’d take it along to finish the roll off. I don’t normally shoot cars on black and white film, I leave […]
Porsche 912 from 1965-1969
A recent Twitter poll I put up quite surprised me with the results. I asked the question ‘how do you shoot your film’ with a choice of 3 answers
Probably the best looking Volvo ever made…
First Scramble of the year!
First Scramble of the year, bring it on.
One of my all time favourite cars, the Lotus Talbot Sunbeam was the car of my dreams when I was just a kid and seeing one last year at a meeting at Bicester Heritage transported me back to those days. I should have taken a few more photographs of it or sought out the owner […]
Classic car action with this beautiful Lotus Cortina. It could almost be the 1960’s couldn’t it, particularly somewhere as atmospheric as Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb is.
Loading a Leica M6, Leica style!
