Monte-Carlo Historique in Banbury – a fun thing to do on a Thursday morning!
This weeks 52 week challenge photo is a free hit, where a topic is not drawn out of the hat, it’s whatever you want to post! Having had a morning at the Historique Rally Event in Banbury yesterday, I decided on this photo – love an old Jaguar and all the chrome that goes with […]
I always think classic American cars look great when you see them in the UK. Their presence is undiminished and their size always makes them a crowd puller. Easy to see why with this beautiful example of a Dodge isn’t it?!
Thought it would be fun to convert a few of the recent photographs to a square format.
Porsche 912 from 1965-1969
Probably the best looking Volvo ever made…
First Scramble of the year!
One of my all time favourite cars, the Lotus Talbot Sunbeam was the car of my dreams when I was just a kid and seeing one last year at a meeting at Bicester Heritage transported me back to those days. I should have taken a few more photographs of it or sought out the owner […]
Classic car action with this beautiful Lotus Cortina. It could almost be the 1960’s couldn’t it, particularly somewhere as atmospheric as Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb is.
Classic Alvis looks. There’s little better in my humble opinion. Shot on Nikon D750 with Sigma 35mm f1.4
Quite a rare sight on UK roads, big American muscle cars. This looked pretty sweet and of course being a muscle car sounded pretty good too!
I really like this Ford Mustang photograph captured at Bicester Heritage sometime last year. The low angle helps to accentuate the aggressive stance of the car and of course, the Ford Mustang is a classic.
I’m a huge armchair Porsche fan. It’s one of those iconic brands that never fails to excite me and seeing new and old Porsche cars always sets the heart beating just that little faster.
Iconic seems such an under rated word for the VW Beetle, however this particular beauty had the wear and patina to really match it’s age and condition. What a great looking car with such character.
